Online Booking Priced by Pet Size: The Book Now Page for Mobile Groomers
Most new grooming customers ask the same first question: how much? The answer usually depends on how many pets, how big they are, which service and which extras. Answering that by text, over and over, takes a lot of time. A booking page that prices by pet size answers it before the customer ever has to ask.
Where New Clients Come From
The last guide, Routes for Mobile Pet Grooming Vans: Ordering the Day Around Set Appointment Times, covered the days you have already booked. This one is about filling them, starting with the Book Now page.
One Link, Many Places
PetGroomBossPro gives you a Book Now link. Put it on your website, your Google Business Profile, your social bios, and anywhere else people find you. Everyone who taps it lands on the same booking page with your services and your prices.
What the Customer Picks
The booking page walks the customer through a short set of choices:
- A service, such as Full Groom, Bath & Brush or Puppy Intro Groom
- How many pets
- Each pet's name, breed and size
- How often, with an optional discount for repeat schedules
- Add-ons, like teeth brushing or nail grinding
- A preferred day and time of day
As they go, the page shows their price. There is no “call for a quote” and no waiting for a reply to find out what a groom costs.
How the Price Is Built
You set the pricing rules, and the page follows them:
- A base price per service, for example $85 for a full groom on a small dog
- A price add-on per size, for example $30 more for a large dog
- A minimum, so a small job never prices below what a stop is worth to you
- Frequency discounts for customers who choose a repeat schedule
- Add-on prices for each extra
Those numbers are examples, not recommendations. What you charge is up to you; the page just does the math the same way every time.
A Request, Not an Instant Booking
This is worth being clear about. The Book Now page sends a request. It does not drop an appointment straight onto your calendar. For a mobile groomer that is usually what you want, because you need to see where the home is and which day already has a van nearby before you commit to a time.
Each booking lands in Leads with everything the customer picked and the price they were quoted, and you get an email. The office then confirms the time with the customer and books it. Repeat customers can be booked straight onto a series with Add Recurring Grooming, covered in Set-Time Repeat Appointments Every 4, 6 or 8 Weeks in Mobile Pet Grooming Software.
The Pets Arrive Already Filled In
Because the customer typed each pet's name, breed and size on the booking page, you are not starting from scratch. When you book them, the pets are already there. You add the coat, the cut notes and the van notes on the first visit, and from then on the next visit fills in from the last.
When a Home Needs a Real Quote
Some homes do not fit a booking page. Four large dogs, a cat that has not been groomed in a long time, or a request for a full day at a senior living community. For those, an estimate is the better tool. You build it from your service list, the customer approves it online, and the approved estimate becomes the job. That is the next guide: Estimates in Pet Grooming Software: Quoting a Multi-Pet Home and Turning It Into a Job.
Setting Prices You Are Happy to Show
A booking page shows your prices to anyone who opens it, so it is worth setting them with care. Start with the services you sell most and the sizes you see most, and make sure each combination comes out at a number you would quote over the phone. Try a few bookings yourself as a pretend customer: a small dog with one add-on, two large dogs on a six-week schedule, a cat groom. If a total looks wrong, adjust the base price, the size add-on or the minimum until it looks right.
Fewer Texts Before the First Groom
The real value of a priced booking page is the conversation it replaces. Without it, a new customer texts to ask the price, you ask how many dogs, they tell you, you ask how big, they send a photo, you give a range, they ask about nails. With it, they arrive in Leads with the answer already in front of both of you.
That leaves the conversation for the part that actually needs a person: picking a time that works. For the rest of the guides, go back to the pet grooming software page.
